How we work

Expert teams with relevant capabilities

Each project is assigned team members with the specific expertise required—from experimental design to econometric modeling. We match projects to capabilities honestly. If a project requires methods outside our expertise, we say so and recommend alternatives.

Methodological transparency

We document methods completely. Clients receive results alongside code, data sources, analytical decisions, and methodological justifications. When results are ambiguous or inconclusive, we say so clearly. Reproducibility isn’t optional—it’s standard.

Intellectual independence

We maintain independence in research design and interpretation. While we collaborate closely with clients, we don’t allow pressure to influence findings or suppress inconvenient results. If evidence doesn’t support a preferred intervention, we report that honestly. Our credibility depends on intellectual integrity.

Academic standards, applied rigorously

Every project meets the standards we’d apply to peer-reviewed academic research. We use pre-registered analysis plans, apply established protocols for causal inference, and design studies that can withstand external scrutiny. Our work is guided by methodological rigor, not shortcuts

Independent review and quality assurance

All analyses undergo internal peer review by team members not involved in the project. We review code, validate statistical approaches, and challenge findings before finalization. Our culture values constructive skepticism—team members are expected to question approaches and flag concerns.

Ethics review and data protection

Research proposals undergo ethics review following academic and EU standards. We ensure informed consent, protect personal data according to GDPR requirements, and obtain necessary approvals before data collection. For sensitive projects, we seek external ethics committee review.
