Training public servants to understand the needs of LGBTI+ people and respond to hate crime, discrimination and violence against them.
The problem
LGBTI+ people face hate crime, discrimination and violence, and the mechanisms meant to protect them, monitor cases and prevent them need strengthening. Much depends on whether the public servants who handle these cases understand LGBTI+ people's needs and know how to respond.
